We especially like that GopherConEU has such a diverse lineup of great speakers again this year. … And we are secretly proud that we (see e.g. Geek Space 9 on Twitter) share the unicorn with this year’s GopherCon design. Unicorns rule!

We still often share memories with each other about our last GopherCon in person (Tenerife, 2019) because we had a super time there together. For the occasion of this blogpost we looked at some pictures again, not all shareable here :-D

Cornelia: “Oh, I still have a funny video of the car ride with the one song in endless loop.”

Bastian: “Many funny group photos there. And gophers with beer. And keyboards in front of volcanoes.”

Unfortunately, yes, we are staying home for GopherCon this year. What we’ll be left with are lots of great memories from our trip to last year’s conference. And then, hopefully, lots of new memories. And the Gophers. They’ve found a good new home on our couch.

We have coffee, mate and drinks (also fruit, the spritzer here symbolizes drinks and fruit in one :-) )

We do Scrum, are 100% agile, so are our team meetings: as many as necessary, as few as possible, effective, and anything but stiff/boring. And many of them take place in our sofa corner, which now in times of home office the Gophers have taken over and are making secret plans :-))

And: We like to spend time together also after work. (If we are allowed to meet again, definitely in person. At the moment we meet virtually every Thursday for a beer after work. So the beer is not virtual, or Mate, or whatever everyone drinks.)
